《Drug》是首情歌，但不是梦幻和幸福的那种。它带着深邃的忧伤和无奈，有人说这是一个单恋的故事。

John Grant极富磁性的嗓音描述一个男人迷恋上一个女人，即便是无数次被欺骗，依然上瘾，betterthan cocain.

这样的单恋故事很熟悉，从某一方面来讲，我更情愿是这个迷恋上的男人，终于厌倦了一次次的欺骗，而选择和平放弃所表明的态度，和毒品一样，驱赶出自己的生活，永远没有自己主动退出来得干净。

这张专辑名为《The Ugly People vs. The BeautifulPeople.》，有人翻译为《当丑男人遇上漂亮女人》，想来，反之也未尝不可。当丑陋与美丽对峙，我们是否也只是沉默的人质……

The Czars乐队向来以忧郁而细腻的风格著称，即便是这样一个凄美的故事，也可以表现得如此壮丽，这个名叫沙皇的乐队，用音乐的形式，代表了某一类人群。其实The Czars其它的歌对我来说都略显苍白，唯独钟情于这首《Drug》，带着深深的，不可自拔的迷醉。
